FAQ
Q: How long will my sign/wrap last?
A: There is no definitive answer to how long it will last as it depend on a variety of factors including sun exposure (north or south facing, vertical or horizontal application), pollutants (fallout, bird dropping, salt, etc) and how you as a customer looks after it (wraps in particular). Keeping signs and wraps clean and sun exposure kept to a minimum are good ways to extend the lifespan.

Q: How do I clean my wrap?
Every brand of film and material has their own cleaning methods to follow but the general guide to keep your wrap clean is as follows:
- Use a ph neutral wash (wash and waxes can be used but should check for compatibility first).
- Wash as often as reasonability possible, most brand suggest at least every 2 weeks.
- The use of a sealant such as waxes and ceramic coats can improve life and aid in cleaning (check compatibility of product first).
- Clean off any contamination as soon as possible, such as bird droppings.
- Never use automatic car washes as most of them will automatically void warranty
Q: What file type does my artwork need to be?
The best format for artwork file is a vector file (a must for computer cut vinyl) which are commonly a pdf, eps or ai file. If unsure we can take a look at the file to check as images files such as jpeg can be saved within those formats.
For digital printing a jpeg or other image file can be used depending on the quality and size of print.
If a vector file is not possible then it must be converted at an extra cost.
Q: How long does it take?
Without knowing what the job is there is no way to tell how long it will take. There are many factors that can contribute to how fast production can start and installation can happen. If the correct files are supplied and material is in stock same day service can be achieved but most of the time 1-2 weeks is a general guide.
Factors that can extend the production time of your job include artwork (complexity and proof response time), material availability, job size, custom elements (sizing, frame, etc) and weather (for installation).
Q: How do I know what my sign is going to look like?
For every job undertaken (if applicable) an artwork proof is sent for approval and production will not proceed without a signature for an authroised person. The proof does not mean that what is sent is what you have to have, changes can be made and a new proof sent without an extra fee (unless major deviations are made from quote works which then will require a requote).
